Aquatic Therapy/Hydrotherapy

Aquatic Therapy or Hydrotherapy can be defined as follows:

 "A therapy program utilising the properties of water, specifically designed by a suitably qualified Physiotherapist for an individual to maximise their level of function whether physical, physiological or psychological.

Treatments ideally should be carried out in a purpose built and suitably heated hydrotherapy pool by appropriately trained personnel"
